The presentation took place in “Orion” Conference Hall, while the findings were discussed with relevant organizations and institutions invited at this event.
“Monitoring Matrix on Enabling Environment for Civil Society Development ” is a monitoring mechanism developed and applied by civil society from Western Balkans and Turkey, which provides a comprehensive set of optimum standards on development of civil society. Taking into account the existing global, regional and national standards, CSDev Matrix includes concrete indicators for both legislation in place and its implementation.
KCSF, as a member organization of BCSDN, has been part of the experts group which drafted the standards and indicators, while it is in charge of monitoring the current state of affairs in Kosovo at yearly basis. Some of the monitored fields include the basic legal framework for civil society, freedom of assembly and expression, financial viability for civil society, tax and fiscal treatment, public funds for CSOs, cooperation between public authorities and civil society, CSO service provision, etc.
