The community development and organizing capacity-building program enables CSOs to engage with constituencies, use community mapping to empower the local communities, and create connections with other community stakeholders. CSOs will be supported in creating and implementing community projects that bring them closer to their constituents and engage the wider community.
CSOs and activists are further being capacitated in exercising their role in monitoring if the public participation standards are being met by the local governments and in encouraging and supporting the community to become part of the decision-making process at the local level.
